How to Choose Your Correct Size When Shopping Online
Share
Hola chicas!
Today I want to talk about something many of us worry about when shopping for clothes online: sizes. There’s nothing worse than falling in love with a piece and then feeling unsure because you don’t know if it will fit you. But don’t worry — the good news is that with a few simple steps, you can shop with confidence and enjoy every piece that arrives at your door.
1. Know your measurements
The first step is to measure yourself. Grab a measuring tape and note down:
Bust: wrap it around the fullest part of your chest (not underneath).
Waist: measure the narrowest part, right above your belly button.
Hips: measure around the widest part of your hips and glutes.
Extra tip: measure one of your favorite blouses from armpit to armpit, multiply that number by two, and compare it to your bust measurement. This gives you a real reference of how you like your clothes to fit.
2. Use the boutique’s size guide
Each boutique or brand can vary in sizing. The key isn’t to focus on the letter (S, M, L), but on the inches shown in the chart. For example, if your bust measures 37.8 inches, look for the size that comes closest to that number. In my boutique, you’ll find a size chart with these measurements at the end of each product’s photo collection.
3. Read the product description and check photos and videos
Some pieces have a relaxed fit, while others are more form-fitting. A loose boho blouse doesn’t fit the same as a fitted dress. Also, check the photos available in my boutique — I make sure to include a wide selection of images from different angles so you can see every detail.
And recently, I opened the boutique’s YouTube channel, where you can find videos showing how the pieces move and fall when worn. This helps you get a more realistic idea of how each item will fit on you.
4. Consider your personal style
Beyond size, think about how you like your clothes to fit. If you prefer comfort, you might want to choose a slightly looser size. If you like defined looks, go for the measurement that fits closer to your body.
5. If you have doubts, just ask
If you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll be happy to help you choose the size and style that suits you best. My goal is to make your shopping experience calm and satisfying, so every piece you choose makes you feel confident and happy — even when shopping from home.
